Pack 102 Okinawa

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 102

Pack 102 is chartered by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Okinawa / LCpl Frank C. Allen Memorial Post 9723.
Pack 102 has been active for over 29 years and offers a top notch cub scouting program for boys in the first trough fifth grades.
Pack 102 is a Gold Award Unit in Scouting’s 2012 Journey to Excellence. Pack 102 has been recognized by BSA as a top Quality Unit for the previous 10 consecutive years and 17 times since its founding in 1982.
Pack 102 is an all-volunteer unit run by parents who are committed to delivering a fun and educational year-round scouting program to all the boys in the Pack.

Pack 102 participates in the Ecocap program by collecting plastic bottle caps for recycling. Proceeds provide immunizations to children in poor countries. Each 800 bottle caps bring in about 20 yen, that pay for a polio immunization. For additional information visit the
Japan NPO Ecocap website. Turn in your bottle caps at any Pack 102 Den or Pack activity.

On 26 Nov 2012 - Pack 102 was presented with a certificate by Mr. Takaesu, Executive Director of the Okinawa Ecological Cooperative Association, for collecting and donating 8kg, or 3,400 plastic bottle caps.
